Community Commons Fitness Center at Cornell
University in Ithaca, NY, opened in August, 2001. This 3,300 sq.
ft. facility offers strength and cardiovascular equipment for members
of the Cornell Community. It is the fifth site for CFC programmed
similarly to provide a consistent experience for members. Over
10,000 students, faculty, staff and members of their families purchase
memberships to either the Cornell Fitness Centers or the Cornell
Wellness program each year.
The new site offers the Advanced Performance System including the
Advanced Rotary Technology stations, and Total Body pieces. "The
Paramount equipment offers a new line for our program." says
Darrell Wilson, Associate Director of Recreational Services and Director
of CFC. "Paramount has shown a commitment to developing new
products with the user in mind. They produce high quality equipment
which our members have come to expect." The entire professional
staff of CFC share in operations, design and implementation of their
programs. |
